The Prayer for Protection was written by the late James Dillet Freeman, poet laureate of the Unity movement and director of Silent Unity, Unity’s worldwide prayer ministry.
“Beloved, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24
Unity is a ministry founded on the power of prayer. It was through prayer that our co-founders, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, received significant and seemingly miraculous healings. Prayer always has been central to Unity and to our ministry at Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco.
We invite you to experience the healing power of God at our Invitation to Wellness service, offered 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. every third Sunday. Energy healers, music, song, prayer and movement come together to help you accept the healing available to you through God.
If you are experiencing circumstances in your life, or in the life of a loved one, that needs to be handled with prayer, you also may want to take advantage of individual prayer support offered every Sunday after our service.
We also invite you to fill out a prayer request form so we can add you to our prayer list. Our Prayer Team will pray daily for your request for 30 days and then send the request to Silent Unity, our movement’s worldwide prayer ministry in Unity Village, Missouri, for an additional 30 days of powerful prayer.
Should you be in the hospital and want someone to call you and/or pray with you, please call the church at (415) 566-4122.
