What do I wear?
Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco is a welcoming community with a casual environment. Most of us will be dressed casually. Several people like to dress in their Sunday best. We welcome any style that makes you feel comfortable.

What denomination are you?
Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco is trans-denominational. We embrace all spiritual teachings and follow the teachings of Jesus as our wayshower. To those seeking spiritual growth, Unity offers a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity. Unity is viewed as a movement in consciousness, rather than as a religion. It is not your parents’ religion.

Unity is without creed or dogma, has no formal liturgy and recognizes no sacrament. Unity is where we ask questions, not give answers. We believe the answer to every challenge lies within the heart and mind of each individual. Our emphasis is not on the demands of a personality, institution or religion… it is on spiritual transformation. Unity centers and churches represent diversity of race, color, gender, age, creed, religion, national origin, ethnicity, physical disability and sexual orientation.

I have children; do you have activities for them during your services?
We have a wonderful youth-education program that you can learn more about here. Currently we have children ranging in age from 2 to 11 regularly attending USC, and we would love to have your child or children join us for our fun, meaningful Children’s Church!

How can I learn more?

You are also invited to call the church office at (415) 566-4122 if you would like to make an appointment with Rev. What might I experience?
Coming through the doors of Unity Spiritual Center “feels like home” — we have heard that over and over again by those who are visiting us for the first time. Many of us here spoke those very words many years ago when we first discovered this way of life we call Unity. And we will never tire of hearing them — perhaps because they speak of the deep heart connection that we each desire to experience in our lives. This spiritual home we call Unity is a place to bring forth the highest and best that is within you, and to experience the light and love you so richly deserve. Welcome home… welcome to Unity Spiritual Center of San Francisco!
