"The Mystical Life: Spirituality for the New Millennium"
Thursdays 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Every Thursday at 7 p.m., a class on "The Mystical Life" meets to examine and explore various aspects of the mystical path of life and its relevance as the spirituality for the New Millennium.
Lessons and practice applications include, among others: centering, contemplation, and meditation methods and programs; the perennial philosophy and the Truth teaching (with the Infinite Way teachings of modern-day mystic Joel S. Goldsmith for an anchor and reference); universal principles of mysticism; the fabric of consciousness, the conditioned human mind, and the nature of the mind-body continuum; the nature of evil as error; the false self system and its dysfunctional programs for happiness; karmic law, human suffering, and the human condition; the healing and prospering activity of grace; spiritual transcendence; the mystical experience and spiritual illumination; the role of spiritual unfoldment in evolving human consciousness; Truth affirmations, mind treatment, and spiritual healing; the metapsychology in the dynamics between consciousness (or spirit) and the mind; the confluence between science and mysticism; the divine plan in creation; a survey of comparative mystical systems from the world's major religions; errors in the paradigm of New Age metaphysics; and the dangers of pseudo-mystical teachings.
